  • New Look for Logging into NYCPS Accounts

Starting at the end of day on May 23, you will notice a change to the NYCPS sign-in screen for students and staff; there will now be two separate screens for logging in—one screen for your username, followed by a second screen for your password.

This redesign will eventually enable phasing in the use of image/QR code as part of the sign-in process for pre-K–grade 3 students; all students in these grade levels will have the option to use this new process beginning September 2025. Note that this functionality will eventually be expanded to serve students with IEPs in all grade levels, along with other user groups, at a later date.

For more information, including screenshots of the new process, visit the employee-facing DOE Accounts and Passwords InfoHub page.

  • Congratulations Mrs. Borger for Being Nominated for the Climate Leadership Award

    Congratulations!

You were nominated by Thad Copeland from the Office of Energy & Sustainability for our very first Climate Leadership Awards, and we are thrilled to let you know that you’ve won!

This award celebrates NYC public school students, staff, and educators who are making exceptional strides in sustainability efforts. Climate education and action have grown significantly over the last few years, and your efforts have been a huge catalyst in creating systemic change from improving efficiency in how our buildings operate to connecting climate and sustainability to classroom lessons. All of these efforts, big and small, are making NYC Public Schools more sustainable and resilient.
Your commitment and passion for creating a more sustainable future for our schools and communities truly stand out. You’ve been an incredible partner in this important work, and for that, we sincerely thank you!

  • District Survey for the IM Math Curriculum (Please click the attached link)

    Hello MS172 Community,

As we come to the close of our first year implementing the adopted IM Math Curriculum, the District 26 Math Team would like to take a pulse on how these shifts are impacting our middle schools. We have designed a set of questions based on the implementation tool provided by the curriculum provider.

There are many strengths our school and math community have demonstrated with the new curriculum, and of course, as with any new curriculum, there are challenges that we still face. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us understand these impacts and plan our next steps.

Please take a moment to answer the survey linked below. Your responses will provide crucial feedback for the district and guide our future actions.

    District Survey:

    Thank you in advance.

    Nash
