High school offers will be available to families later this afternoon, Thursday, March 6th, on your MySchools account (myschools.nyc).
Please see the attached flyer for Family Information Sessions hosted by High School Enrollment. These workshops will cover topics such as:- How high school offers were made
- How waitlists work
- Next steps in the process
After the presentation, High School Enrollment staff will be available to respond to your questions.

What’s your spring break destination? K–8 students can apply now to STEM Matters NYC enrichment programs. Choose from a wide range of programs at amazing destinations throughout the five boroughs! Get your hands dirty in nature, encounter amazing animals, or design an art or engineering project. Students will meet and work with field experts in programs that feature real-world learning experiences.
Programs are offered at: NYC Center for Aerospace and Applied Mathematics; Intrepid Museum; MakerSpace NYC; New York Aquarium; New York Botanical Garden; Prospect Park Zoo; Queens Botanical Garden; Queens County Farm Museum; Queens Zoo; Rocking the Boat; Salvadori Center; Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden; Sound Collective; Staten Island MakerSpace; Staten Island Museum; Staten Island Zoo; and UrbanGlass.

Candy Heart Estimate- Stop by Mr. Sasso during lunch and make an estimate of how many candy hearts are in the jar. Closest winner for year grade wins a prize! Winners to be announced at the end of the day.

MS Arts Audition Boot Camp 2025 (7th Grade Students)
August 4 – August 15, 2025 (Monday - Friday)
Note: There will be weekend follow-up sessions in the Fall 2025 prior to high school
auditioning season (dates to be determined).Overview: This is a free, two-week arts intensive program for New York City Public
Schools students entering grade 8 in September 2025. The NYC Public Schools (NYCPS)
Arts Office administers this program in collaboration with a group of leading cultural
organizations: Lincoln Center, Weill Institute of Music at Carnegie Hall, Harlem School
of the Arts, New York Philharmonic, Studio in a School, and The Juilliard School.

The 7th Annual NYC DOE/MOME Public School Film Festival (NYCPSFF) is open to all NYC Department of Education (DOE) middle and high school students. A panel of educators and media professionals will select approximately 25 films.
Films must be 5 minutes or less in any of these categories:
•Animation
•Short Feature/Narrative
•Documentary
•Experimental
•Public Service Announcement (P.S.A.)/AdvocacyDEADLINE: Friday, March 7, 2025
Notice of selected films: April 11, 2025
Each selected film will receive a “Certificate of Official Selection”
All filmmakers will be invited to a special screening day and career development event tentatively scheduled for April 29, 2025*.
