May 16, 2025MS172QNew Look for Logging into NYCPS Accounts
May 15, 2025Starting at the end of day on May 23, you will notice a change to the NYCPS sign-in screen for students and staff; there will now be two separate screens for logging in—one screen for your username, followed by a second screen for your password.
This redesign will eventually enable phasing in the use of image/QR code as part of the sign-in process for pre-K–grade 3 students; all students in these grade levels will have the option to use this new process beginning September 2025. Note that this functionality will eventually be expanded to serve students with IEPs in all grade levels, along with other user groups, at a later date.
For more information, including screenshots of the new process, visit the employee-facing DOE Accounts and Passwords InfoHub page.
